The first gold medalist of #usajrs evening program of Day 1.  Haley Showalter was sitting in second before her last throw, but managed to sent the implement to  57.51m, capturing the victoryand achieving the #Oregon14 entry standard (57.00m) "In these two weeks before the World Juniors, I need to work on getting my speed under control. It was great to bounce back after a couple of unlucky recent competitions, it wi give me confidence," she said.
