Like, share and comment to improve karate culture. ⁡ Just a thought: I'm seeing a lot of hate and negative comments on karate post lately, including mine. ⁡ Lots of people are going around leaving negative comments and bad energy for people in the video, and the account. ⁡ People who train hard and compete hard are beautiful. Period. They're hard workers who put in the time and effort to become 1% better every day, a better karate-ka than who they were yesterday. ⁡ So whoever takes THEIR OWN SPARE TIME to post negative comments on other people's post and accounts, SHAME. ON. YOU. Out of all sports, us martial artists should know how it feels to be attacked. ⁡ The truth is, that person, including me, is improving our techniques that very moment, as you go around judging people. ⁡ What we all have in common is that we all love karate. Post THAT! Congratulate them for their confidence. Don't hate. Mind your own business, and treat others the way you want to be treated. Hating culture is NOT the karate way. ⁡ My mind set/self talk: As a competitor, negative comments only fuel me to become better. (Even posting this is firing me up to practice hard today 😂) ⁡ Most of the time, negative comments are from jealousy. Haters only come to people who are successful, and has something that haters don't have. Your commitment and dedication. ⁡ And I do admit, those negative comments do hurt! But thanks to them, I become a better athlete, and a humble human being. So to everyone that is affected by harsh words and comments, be strong.
