During #PublicSession houstonmayor sylvesterturner proclaims May 23,  2023 as Sergeant Kendrick Simpo Day in the #CityOfHouston.
In February of 2022, while on duty, Sergeant Simpo tackled a suspect at the galleria mall that was found to have a riffle and 120 rounds of ammunition. The Mayor and citizens of this city are grateful for the bravery he showed. His willingness to sacrifice his life to save the lives others makes him a true #HoustonHero.
