Re:wild is grateful to the supporters of "Art of Nature," held during #artbaselmiami at superblue.art earlier this month. The event raised more than $9 million to support our ongoing work with local partners in more than 80 countries to conserve and restore 460 million acres of irreplaceable places for #biodiversity. 

The night included remarks by Re:wild founding board member leonardodicaprio (pictured with special guests Yawanawa Chiefs Nixiwaka Yawanawa and Isku Kua Yawanawa), Chief Scientist and CEO Wes Sechrest, Indigenous activist ninagualinga and actor and ambassador natkelley (pictured with Re:wild's robindmoore). The event also included an immersive art experience, live auction, and special “Heaven After Dark” curation by Jane’s Addiction frontman and lollapalooza founder perryfarrellofficial, his wife and creative partner ettylaufarrell (both pictured) and manager Michael James, as well as special performances by catpowerofficial and DJ maceoplex. Notable guests also included seanpenn, blackforager (pictured), and edward_enninful.

“We are overwhelmed by the event’s support for our critical mission and grateful to all of the people who came together to celebrate the wild,” Sechrest said. “So many incredible supporters have stepped up to help ensure that our local and Indigenous partners around the world have what they need to continue to safeguard the most biodiverse and irreplaceable ecosystems, to the benefit of all life on Earth.”
