🦇 #BatWeek is here! We might not always see bats, but you can trust that the over 1,400 bat species are working hard all around the world each night - eating tons of insects, pollinating flowers, and spreading seeds that grow new plants and trees.

But not everyone shares our enthusiasm for bats. 108 bat species are listed as Endangered or Critically Endangered globally. These amazing animals face a multitude of threats including habitat destruction, pesticide use, lack of available roost sites, and climate change.
