The San Antonio Gunslingers (6-5) faced off against the Massachusetts Pirates (6-6) in a nail-biting game Saturday night in Lowell, Massachusetts. Final Score: 52-51 with the win going to the Gunslingers.

The game was heated and closely contested. At halftime, the Pirates held a narrow lead of 24-21 over the Gunslingers. However, the true drama unfolded in the final moments of the game. With only 15 seconds left in regular play, Gunslingers' quarterback Sam Castronova threw a touchdown pass to NyQuan Murray, bringing the score to 51-50 in favor of the Pirates. 

In a bold decision, Head Coach Tom Menas opted for a two-point conversion to go for the win. Facing pressure, Castronova's initial pass to D.J. Myers fell incomplete, but a pass interference call against the Pirates granted the Gunslingers a second chance. Seizing this opportunity, Castronova connected with Keyshawn Harper for the two-point conversion, securing a dramatic 52-51 lead for the Gunslingers.

The excitement didn't end there. With just 2 seconds left on the clock, Pirates kicker Calum Sutherland attempted a 39-yard field goal to snatch victory, but his kick went wide left, sealing the game for the San Antonio Gunslingers.

Sam Castronova, threw his 59th touchdown of the season during this game, maintaining an impressive record.
