Meet 27-year-old Gibson Kawago from #Tanzania. He is one of our 17 new #SDGYoungLeaders who have been recognised for their contributions to the achievement of the #GlobalGoals.

Born in a village with no access to electricity, gibsonkawago would travel more than 32 miles to power up his mobile phone at a charging station. Today, the young man is a climate entrepreneur and founder of wagatanzania, which aims to reuse laptop batteries and provide affordable, reliable and sustainable battery solutions for all. 

Every two years, unyouthenvoy brings together the Young Leaders for the Global Goals. These inspiring youth come from many different backgrounds & regions and are helping tackle the world's most pressing challenges to achieve a more sustainable and peaceful future.
