Between 2006 and 2020, more than 1,200 journalists were killed around the world, with nearly 9 out of 10 cases remaining unresolved, according to unesco.

Wednesday is the International Day to #EndImpunity for Crimes against Journalists. 

"We must end a common culture of impunity and enable journalists to do their essential work," said #UnitedNations Secretary-General antonioguterres.
