I had the honor of moderating an incredible panel at the Basketball Africa League (thebal) Innovation Summit, featuring actor Boris Kodjoe, award-winning choreographer Sherrie Silver, and NBA legend Luol Deng. 

**Luol Deng:**
Talking with Luol Deng about his stellar career with the Chicago Bulls, his two-time All-Star status, and his role on the NBA All-Defensive Second Team was amazing. We delved into his decision to return to South Sudan to lead their Basketball Federation, his dreams for the sport’s growth there, and what’s needed to elevate basketball across Africa.

**Boris Kodjoe:**
Boris Kodjoe’s diverse career and achievements as an investor are truly inspiring. I asked him about his initiative, Full Circle Africa, his vision for creating a lasting legacy in Ghana, and the challenges he’s faced attracting investments to the continent.

**Sherrie Silver:**
Witnessing Sherrie Silver’s journey from choreographing Childish Gambino’s “This is America” to working with stars like Rihanna and Lady Gaga has been a joy. We discussed the Sherrie Silver Foundation’s impact on fostering creativity in Kigali, Rwanda, why she chose Kigali as its base, and her advice for others looking to launch impactful initiatives.
