Let's close out National Women's History Month with a look back at the first women's team to be inducted into the WCU Hall of Fame: the 1969 Women's Basketball team!

Coached by WCU Hall of Famer Betty Westmoreland Suhre and led by fellow Hall of Famer Nora Lynn Finch, the 1969 Catamounts posted an incredible 14-3 record as they fought their way to a CIAW Championship game appearance!

The team was inducted into the WCU Hall of Fame in 2003.
