Today, let's look back at the career of a legendary Catamount gymnast: Susan Bulloch Hartsell!

Hartsell led WCU to four consecutive gymnastics championships from 1973-1976 and was named the individual state champion in three of those seasons!

She finished in the top five at the Southern Regional and qualified for the National Championship meet every season in Cullowhee. 

WCU's 1976 Female Athlete of the Year was inducted into the Western Carolina Hall of Fame in 1994.
