Today, let’s look at the first recruit in WCU Women’s Soccer history, Nardia Moore!

Moore signed as the first recruit for a fledgling Catamount program and left quite an impression on the pitch as she was named the Buzz Soccer Freshman of the Year for first-year programs in 1999.

She was WCU’s first three-time All-SoCon selection as she picked up second-team honors from 1999-2002. Moore played a pivotal role in the Catamounts’ conference championship run in 2001 and ended her career with 96 points, including 38 goals.

The legendary Catamount was inducted into the WCU Hall of Fame in 2011 and was named to both the Women’s Soccer 10th and 20th Anniversary teams.
