Today, let's take a look back at the legendary legacy of Sue Persons!

Persons served as Head Coach of the Catamount women’s gymnastics team that went undefeated from 1972-1975 winning four straight AIAW state championships!

She then went on to serve as President of the North Carolina AIAW and representative in Washington, D.C. playing a key role in legislation that became known as Title IX and was elected into the Western Carolina Hall of Fame in 2005.
