Also, I want to address this briefly because people who have less experience with skating/lifting see things differently: ivandesyatov_ always makes sure I’m safe when we do anything pertaining to lifts. He slows my fall in this video and always, always catches me. Or, if he can’t do that, he makes sure I fall onto him if something goes wrong. That’s how we’re able to try so many new things— I am definitely not as capable as many of the “flyers” I see on social media but I trust Vanya to keep me safe, so we’re able to try a lot of things outside of the comfort zone.
