I spent my whole lunch searching through old photos hoping to find the perfect one for today. It’s a day that sometimes I ha die okay and some years I don’t. None seemed to fill what I was looking for so here’s a photo that fills me with hope. Hope that someone will see it and it’ll bring a smile to their face. 
It’s been 13 years since my Mom passed away. I know time heals all wounds but that one hasn’t scabbed over.  I still just want one more phone call...just one. 4749 days. So next time you’re around your Mom and she annoys you or wants a hug in front of your friends remember there’s thousands of people would give anything for that moment you are too busy for.
