It’s time to celebrate the #RUClassOf2022 as they transition to their next chapter! Over the last few weeks, we have been sharing stories from our graduates about how their time at Rutgers has shaped them into who they are today. 
 
Meet Rohini Chatterjee, a graduating senior at mgsarutgers and rutgersartsandsciences double majoring in Design and Information Technology and Informatics (ITI). 
 
“I always struggled with a sense of identity and belonging. Growing up I never really knew exactly what I was passionate about, what impact I wanted to make, how I wanted to build relationships with others. I simply just went about life, doing things because it’s what I felt like I needed to rather than having a drive from within myself. There was no complete sense of identity within me, which resulted in me not being able to offer much to the world around me. 
 
After graduating from Rutgers… 
 
I’ve become full. Full of knowledge that I’ve accrued throughout my four years here. Full of ideas that I hope to carry out in my future creative endeavors. Full of stories that I can share for years and years to come. Full of love for the people I’ve met and the communities I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of. I feel like I know myself. 
 
But that’s not to say that now that I’m full, it ends here. I hope to put my full self into whatever I do with my future whether that be my career, my relationships, or my personal growth. In return I can absorb the information and lessons that I require to continue my own improvement. Building a symbiotic relationship with the world around me.”
