I held this decision deep in my heart for days “I want to buy the XFL,” as a few of my team members softly investigated and gathered information. 

Before the pivotal therock call, before the frenzy of legal and financial activity, before I was fortunate enough to align with the mastery of Gerry Cardinale and RedBird; I just held it and let the passion and love I have for this sport fill out the vision of all that it could be. All that could be done for the athletes, football fans, and the sport itself. What the XFL Universe could be: the experience, the impact, the joy, and opportunities for all who surround the ball. 

And then I took a big breath and said to myself “Now.”
