When it came time to be promoted, Dr. Linda Archer was given a lesser title than her predecessor had — she was the first woman to get the job but wasn’t given the courtesy of the title. When she objected she was told, “If you don’t like it, go home.” Thankfully, Dr. Archer says, times have changed, so have mentalities, and with that, so has her title.
