Coming to the United States right before my 15th birthday changed my life because i was exposed to opportunities. But i was prepared by my upbringing in Nigeria to never let anything deter me and to always believe that ‘Nothing is impossible’ as long as i work hard, stay humble and continue to trust God 

I want to wish all my Nigerian brothers and sisters in Nigeria  and all around the world a belated happy Independence Day 

May we continue to strive to take advantage of the opportunities given and in-turn, create more opportunities for others to grow
