They’re everywhere in the #Galapagos 🥹 - TIPS ⤵️

You may not realize the Galapagos has 3 inhabited islands— We based ourselves in ‘San Cristobal’ & ‘Santa Cruz’, and were amazed by all the free activities.

〰️Just by waking to town, visiting markets, and strolling alone the malecon, you’ll be AMAZED at how many critters you’ll see—Sea lions, pelicans, and iguanas, just hanging around! 

—no tour required ✌️

And PLEASE, Let’s keep the wild WILD—use those Zoomy lens’, land show the utmost respect to this wonderland, and locals. All the beaches are pristine! By packing out all our trash and bringing a reusable water bottles, we can help reduce waste 🙏. 

We walked to various spots and our local stays included snorkel gear, but you can also rent bikes and make an entire day of it. 

We loved ⤵️ 

 ✔️Las Loberías (San Cristóbal): you’ll find playful sea lions! 

✔️ Tortuga Bay (Santa Cruz): white sand and clear waters and so many marine iguanas.
