What a day!! 2 free relay prelims thinking you initially get 10th, finding out you’re really tied for 9th... then there’s a DQ and you’re in a swim off for 8th. The swim off went to the other team BUT the girls swam .8 seconds faster in the swim off than finals, and in the three swims the 2 free relay had there were 3 lifetime best splits (including a lifetime best lead-off by .3) In finals Ken Kate Maggie and Alyssa finished 10th in the Nation with a 1:33.88...ironically would have finished 6th in the championship heat...GO GUSTIES!!! Way to represent Gustavus with class.
