This past week, the Boy’s Lacrosse team went 3-0 with wins against MacArthur, Locust Valley, and Southside!

On Monday, the boys travelled to MacArthur and took them down 11-8! Great ball movement led to many scoring opportunities. Junior Henry Haberman (henry_haberman3 ) led the way with 4 goals and one assist, senior Jensen Weingard (jensenweingard11 ) poured in 3 goals and 1 assists, sophomore Luke Meyer (lmeyer_2 ) scored twice, along with junior Gavin Jacobsen (gavin_jacobsen ) and senior Andrew Robinson (andrew.robinson10 ) having one a piece. The senior brick wall standing in goal Patrick Kenny (patricktkenny ) had 13 saves and was a crucial part in the victory.

On Wednesday, the Vikings played a struggling Locust Valley team and won 17-3! Senior Jake Schorr (jakeschorr ), Jensen Weingard, and Henry Haberman all scored 3 times along with 1 assist. Senior Matt Morales (mattmorales17 ), junior Ben Krefetz (bklax11 ), junior Andy Feinstein (andy.feinstein1 ), and sophomore John McCarthy (johnmccarthy13 ) all scored once with 1 assist. Junior Anthony Bellomo (anthonybellomo_ ) put up 2 goals along with Gavin Jacobsen and senior Jared Morales’ (jared_morales ) one. Luke Meyer and Andrew Robinson each had 1 assist as well. Goalies Patrick Kenny, junior Bradley Hamroff (bradley_hamroff ), and senior John Hyde (john_hyde07 ) pitched in a combined effort of 13 saves!

On Friday, the boys took on Southside for their first home game at the new turf and won 10-4! A great effort from the team resulted in a dominating win. Jared Morales, Gavin Jacobsen, Luke Meyer, and Henry Haberman all scored 2 a piece. Jensen Weingard and John McCarthy both scored once as well. Patrick Kenny put on another electric performance in goal with 15 saves!
