Over the past couple weeks, Port Gymnastics has been working hard for their last meet and the State Qualifiers. 
•
Unfortunately, due to school closures the past week, they were unable to compete against Oceanside and Massapequa, which is one of their biggest rivals. However, Last Tuesday, for their last meet of the season, the girls had an astonishing win over Sewanhaka with a 164.3-156.65!! Great Job Girls! 
•
On Saturday, gymnasts Hannah Ross, Stefanie Carta, and Kiera Darnell competed in the State Qualifiers Competition at Long Beach High school. Stefanie Carta competed all four events, Hannah Ross competed vault, beam, and bars, and Kiera Darnell competed beam.  The girls had a great meet with Stefanie Carta placing 9th in the All Around with a 33.725 and Hannah Ross placing 12th on bars!!

Next Friday, the team will compete in the Nassau County Team Championships. They are currently 5th place in the county, and are working hard to have a great meet and beat out other teams to be  back in the top 3. Though they were looking forward to their last couple of meets, they are looking forward to having a great conclusion to their season! Great job girls and goodluck!
