Port Boys Basketball team picked up 2 pivotal wins this week against Hicksville and Plainview JFK.

Last Tuesday, the Vikings took on Hicksville. In what appeared to be a blowout from the tip, the team won handily by a score of 53-29. Jalen Griffin and Matt Schmitz each scored in double digits, leading the Vikings to victory.

Their next game was on January 17th against Plainview JFK in front of a packed crowd. Home court played to the Vikings advantage, as they won 43-32. Dylan Trenamen highlighted the team’s victory with with 15 points and 7 steals.

Overall, the Vikings are 11-3, and are pushing toward playoff territory!
