Water is up there with one of the most essential resources that humans need to survive and thrive.🌎
Access to clean drinking water is vital if we want to lead a healthy life. As the body is made up of around 60% water, it’s pretty important that the water we are drinking is clean and toxin-free. 

Before we jump into it, let’s take a look at these hard facts:

💦 Globally, at least 2 billion people use a drinking water source contaminated with feces
💦Contaminated drinking water is estimated to cause 829,000 diarrhoeal deaths each year
💦In 2017, over 220 million people required preventive treatment for schistosomiasis – an acute and chronic disease caused by parasitic worms contracted through exposure to infested water
💦By 2025, half of the world’s population will be living in water-stressed areas

What is the link between clean drinking water and health?
Contaminated water and poor sanitation can transmit diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid, and polio. Every day millions of individuals are exposed to dangerously contaminated or chemically polluted water which causes severe health risks. People are dying every year as a result of diarrhea which can be easily preventable with access to clean drinking water.
