When we read the recent studies from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) it revealed a widespread problem that the drinking water for the majority of Americans and Canadians likely contains “forever chemicals” — we had to do something about it! 💥

If you have never heard of forever chemicals, the clue is in the name. They are “toxic” chemicals known as PFAS that cause great harm to humans and last a lifetime in our environment. 
The health risks of PFAS include:

• Testicular, kidney, liver and pancreatic cancer.
• Reproductive problems
• Weakened childhood immunity
• Low birth weight
• Endocrine disruption
• Increased cholesterol
• Weight gain in children and dieting adults
 
Unfortunately, PFAS can be found in some of the drinking water throughout Canada and the US. 🤢😔

While we are on the topic, recent studies have also brought to our attention the arising problem of pipe corrosion which has been contaminating drinking water especially in older cities where the underground lead pipes haven’t been replaced for decades! 

So how do we ensure that the water we are drinking is safe? 

A: Find water that is bottled at source.
