🦒 A giraffe roams freely in the Maasai Mara National Reservation, #Kenya.

Giraffes play a key role in ecosystems. By consuming hard-to-reach foliage, they create open areas for other animals to find food and promote the growth of flora and fauna. Yet, habitat loss & poaching threaten these valuable species.

The unrestricted exploitation of wildlife has led to the disappearance of many animal species, threatening Earth's biological diversity and upsetting the ecological balance.

On Friday’s #WorldGiraffeDay, spread the word and encourage others to help protect these unique mammals.
