#StonyBrookU is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the #AshleySchiffPreserve, named after former political science professor Dr. Ashley Schiff, who cemented his legacy at #StonyBrookUniversity when he chained himself to one of the many trees about to be toppled by a bulldozer many years ago. Today, his activist legacy lives on through splendid oak and maple trees ready to come ablaze in all their red and orange glory!
