When Olivia said these words we all looked at one another with tears welled up in our eyes and then collectively, we smiled and laughed. ⁠
⁠
These words are a usual occurrence in our home, as we’ve made a conscious effort to keep Ben, our stillborn son and the girls’ little brother, a part of our lives as vividly as possible. ⁠

“I’m playing with Benny!” The girls yell out as they run across the yard and a butterfly pays a visit. ⁠
⁠
“Ben is saying good morning!” They sleepily blurt out as they walk in to the kitchen, eyes half-open, and Ben’s memorial wind chime begins to sound. ⁠

These two sweet girls see and feel ✨ Benny in everything. ⁠
⁠
At times this remembrance cracks a heartfelt smile; others a heartache. ⁠
⁠
My mama-heart welcomes it all. ⁠
⁠
