This is PART 4 of my protein series and today we are covering: how you should split up your protein intake throughout the day!

Basically, you want to split up your protein intake as evenly as you can between the amount of meals you eat. (I do not recommend eating more than 4 meals a day, as eating many small meals throughout the day will hurt your metabolism more than help it.)

Splitting up your protein throughout your day will allow your body to work at its optimal intake rate, allowing you to use all of the protein you consume because our bodies cannot take in too much protein at once. Of course, this will differ from person to person.

Now if you fear you won’t be able to split your protein perfectly throughout your meals, no need to worry, there is flexibility. A good rule to follow is try to stay within a 10g range, so either an extra 10g of protein per meal or 10g less.

Remember protein is the key to getting a higher metabolism, burning fat, losing weight, and ultimately reaching your health and fitness goals!

Make sure you’ve checked out parts 1-3 before watching this video!
