This weekend’s episode is all about UFO’s - what’s *really* out there? 🛸👽

Ducks, 🦆or planes,✈️or rockets, 🚀or balloons usually. 🎈

Seeing something in the sky that you don’t recognize and immediately assuming that it is an intelligent life form visiting the Earth feels…lazy. No research necessary! Must be aliens!

However, people do have very intense experiences where they see something that feels otherworldly. I believe them. I believe their experience. However, humans (even highly trained professionals) are easily fooled by optical illusions. 

I once saw the moon 🌝 rising above distant mountains ⛰ along the Utah horizon and I was CONVINCED it was an enormous glowing orb-looking balloon. 🫣😳

It was the weirdest chill-inducing experience. But as we drove closer and the moon rose slightly higher in the sky, it became clear that it was an optical illusion😒 (the moon appears significantly larger when it’s on the horizon - even though it isn’t)!

This episode is intended to provide empathy and explanations for the things we see that we don’t quite understand and those who bear witness to them. 🛸
