Now, back to the #kcsammiechallege. Using janetsfinest Raspberry Jalapeno Compote and farmtomktbread Chile Cheese Sourdough, we made a Sweet & Spicy Turkey Bacon Club. Here's how to make this delicious sammie: make 4 pieces of bacon by frying in a cast iron skillet over medium heat, flipping often until done. Set aside to drain on a paper towel. Spread compote on one slice of bread and mayonnaise on the other (in this house, we use dukes_mayonnaise). Stack the following ingredients on the slice of bread with compote on it: smoked turkey, bacon, and crisp butter lettuce. Top with the other slice of bread, mayonnaise side down. Dig in!
