• eatingbeauty.gram It’s quite the dark and dreary day but there’s always something pretty about it, you just have to look for it! However, if you’re having a hard time and need to see something bright then fear not! Today I’m going to show you the yummy food from shelbyscanada!

Shelby’s started off as a tiny little spot in London. Now they have a few locations, happily offering a variety of Middle Eastern cuisine with a twist! Their portions are quite large too! Pictured are the Doritos Poutine, Sloppy Moes, and Kanafeh! 

The Doritos poutine is a fun take on your classic poutine except they use Doritos instead of fries! It has your choice of meat, topped with poutine sauce, creamy garlic, spicy garlic, parmesan and parsley (Shelby’s way!). It had a very bold and flavourful taste, as well as creamy and crunchy! I wish it had some fries though 😅. Now the Sloppy Moes is a part of their Fusion Menu. It includes your choice of meat, drizzled with chipotle, creamy garlic, parsley. Just think of your favourite salad... with fries in it! It was pretty amazing. Of course we couldn’t miss out on trying their Chicken Shawarma wrap. It’s wrapped in Saj bread, with the Shelby’s way sauces and your choice of toppings. It was delightful and very filling, they were very generous with their chicken and toppings! Finally their Kanafeh (this one is only sold at the Horton location). These desserts are shredded filo pastry, soaked in sweet, syrup, layered with cheese and topped with pistachios. This dessert was amazing! It was warm, delicious, soft and not to sweet! A perfect way to end a yummy meal!
