A huge thanks to Southern Harness Racing for a donation of $10,000 to the NZ Horse Ambulance Trust.

Southern Harness applied for a grant through the Invercargill Licensing Trust Foundation to help fund the operation of the horse ambulance in the Southern region. 

Jason and the team at Southern Harness who are based at Ascot Park Racecourse have thrown their support behind the service, demonstrating their commitment to animal welfare in racing. 

The Invercargill-based horse ambulance covers the expanse of Southland and Otago, travelling as far north as Wingatui. 

The Trust is a registered charity and relies on fundraising and sponsorship for its operations, so thanks again to Southern Harness and ILT for putting #TheHorseFirst.
