I love it when readers share when they try recupes from the #FlowerevolutionBook! In these photos, proeftuin_amstelglorie + nataj310 are making facial Peony mists! Capturing the fragrance of the Peony flower is something you can only do at home. You’ll never be able to find its elusive fragrance in any product in a store. If you have Peony flowers growing in your garden or know someone who would give you a few blossoms, here’s how you can make a facial mist of the Peony flower:⁣

Gather two large handfuls of fresh Peony flower petals, bruise them slightly by squeezing them, and add them to a cup of cold water in a pan. Heat the flower petal water on a low flame, very gently, and then strain the flower petals out of the water after 10 minutes. Transfer the Peony water to a spray bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to one week. Feel free to mist the Peony water on your face as many times as you can each day, because you’ve got to use it up within the week! If you find that you have a lot left over at the end of the week, pour yourself a nice hot bath and add the rest of the Peony water to the bath. In keeping with the quality of the Peony flower, each time you use the facial mist or take a Peony water bath, reflect on what you’re grateful for and what you’d like to attract more of.⁣
