This week’s SGA member of the week is our President, amulyadeva . President Deva is a junior, Finance and Business Analytics & Technology major. She transferred to Trinity her sophomore year from St. Edward’s University. “Last year, not knowing a lot of people, I knew I wanted to get involved on campus and I heard SGA had elections coming up. I ran for Senator (not sure what it would entail), hoping it would at least help me get to know Trinity better. I was elected a Senator last year, and, let me say, SGA definitely gave me a better understanding of how Trinity operates. Furthermore, the work I was doing I actually enjoyed. I loved going to meetings to discuss ways of improving our school and seeing our ideas come to life.” Within SGA, the President guides the culture and priorities of the administration for that year. She decided to run for President because she wanted to have a larger voice, guiding a respectful, collaborative, and efficient environment that is receptive to the concerns of both students and the administration. #SheisOURPresident #SGAmemberoftheweek
