Let’s talk about it…🗣️Part 2💫

Actually…thinking that way is a huge block IMO❌

I used to be stuck in that mentality when it came to growing my business…and boy, did it hold me back!

For many years, I blamed my clients for not giving me the opportunity to share my magic with the world through my social media and website marketing…and it would get me SO upset to put my time and energy into a shoot only to be told…”we don’t want our pics on social media”

It felt like a huge kick to my stomach. How could I possibly grow and attract more clients and business if I couldn’t share my work?😭

Aside from making this my driving motivation to think creatively and shoot more artistic portraits that maintained privacy…I had to think of other ways to market my services💫

So I got to thinking and realized I could create my own styled shoots by collaborating with other vendors, hiring models and creating content days that I could market for social media❤️

This way I could retain creative control with the style of the shoot and the direction I wanted it to go in!💫

My first official styled shoot was back in 2017 and the theme was Bohemian desi bride…I wanted to do something completely different with the direction of that shoot!❤️ 

And crazy enough, this photoshoot ended up published in print for mlweddingsatl 🫶🏼

There is always a silver lining to a “bad” situation, it’s just up to you to perceive it that way✨

Shift your mindset from victim mentality to creator mentality, and your life + biz will change for the better!
