a lil hot, a lil bothered

My trials experience was not very pretty: I got overheated and didn’t do well. I’m frustrated to crumble during this big moment. but I am proud of the work it took to get here! And I am so incredibly grateful for such a support system, I feel so lucky to be in Eugene going after my dreams :))

however I had much higher hopes for this race and many this season so there’s a few things I’ll be working on before my next race… #1 working with a doctor to fix my sludgy/thick blood which causes poor circulation and dizziness (lab work just came back lol) & #2 seeing a sports psychologist to adjust some of my negative thoughts during races. Hopefully u and me both with see some changes for next time!

In the meantime I will be working on losing my voice cheering for all of my inspiring teammates & friends who are racing this week!! Yippee!!
