🎥 + 💭: kenzokiren "A little too close for comfort 😳 Typically female sea lions are super chill. Pups are even more chill and very playful. The big males however… far less chill. They can be quite territorial especially when you get too close to their ladies. One sign you’re getting too close is they will swim back and forth drawing a line between you and what it’s trying to protect. The other sign is opening their mouth towards you, showing their teeth and letting out bubbles. Safe to say this male was giving me the warning to back up.
