Is this their year? The Reign's meteoric ascent up the standings continues. In their last ten games, @olreign have only lost once, and they're currently on a six-game win streak that's shot them up to 2nd place in NWSL. Lavelle and Fishlock are clicking in creative midfield, while @luuuuluuu and @alana.cook have established a strong center back partnership in defense that's allowed the team to stay balanced at both ends of the field. Over the weekend, the Reign thumped Orlando Pride 3-0 thanks to first-half goals from Le Sommer and Balcer, two players that have thrived over the past two months. The Reign's win over the Pride -- with stars like Marta and Alex Morgan -- is just an added exclamation point to their fierce form of late. The rest of the league is on notice.
