12 years ago today we lost our brother in arms, SrA Daniel Sanchez. He was assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron when he was killed in action in the vicinity of Kajran District, Afghanistan. His team came under fire from an enemy insurgent within the Afghan National Army partner force. He will forever be remembered for his energetic personality and dedication to service.
