If you've dealt with the Factory Five admin team, you've likely communicated with my daughter, Madison. This past weekend, Madison got married here in New England to her fiancé Doug, a bright, talented, hard-working, Wisconsin man. Maddie and Doug met at the University of Wisconsin while undergrads and headed east while Maddie completed her MBA at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. 

The entire weekend was filled with family and friends and love and laughter. I'm generally regarded as being well spoken and comfortable in front of large groups at shows and events, but Maddie is my first daughter to be married and giving the "Father-of-the-Bride" toast without crying was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do.  More difficult than giving the eulogy at my father's memorial service even. Good news was I did well by all accounts but the ensuing "Father-Daughter" dance completely did me in!  To all you dad's who have ever danced with your daughters as little girls, having them stand on your toes as the music plays.. it is absolutely impossible not to cry rivers down your cheeks as you dance with her on her wedding day and I proved that as I danced with my beautiful daughter to Tim McGraw's song "My Little Girl".

Madison and her husband Doug (first time I've written that) are on their honeymoon in South Africa at this moment. Maddie will be back taking care of customers here at Factory Five on July 8th.
