We’re gearing up for #GSChangeTheWorld and #DayOfTheGirl by celebrating Gold Award Girl Scouts who are raising awareness about the gender digital divide! They’re bringing technological resources and connectivity to girls around the world! 💻 

Girl Scouts are working to crack the equity code—like Vonesha, a Gold Award Girl Scout making a global difference to bridge the gender and racial gaps in technology fields. 🌎 

 For her Gold Award, Vonesha created “S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art and, math) on Wheels,” a mobile lab of laptops and program kits that give students the tools they need to succeed in Vonesha’s homeland of India. 

 Vonesha made BIG moves to change the world, including: 

🌟 Raising over $45,000 in grants 

🌟 Collaborating with 20 schools 

🌟 Hosting 23 hands-on workshops 

🌟 Mentoring 16,000 students in marginalized communities
