Saturday, cityofhyattsville celebrated Jim Henson’s legacy in Maryland, featuring a marching band, DJ, food, crafts, visual performances, and more.

Joining in the celebrations with warm keynotes were Heather Henson, the youngest daughter of Jim and Jane Henson, and Craig Shemin -- shown in the third photo -- author of “Sam and Friends: The Story of Jim Henson’s First Television Show.”
