Maryland has historically had a connection to the stars - from observations made by Benjamin Banneker to the new frontiers being explored by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, located in Maryland.

Artist Bridget Cimino put Banneker and the Hubble Space Telescope together as part of a recently completed building mural project for the Maryland Center for History and Culture - mdhistory.org/centre-street-mural-project.
