Sounds of a Gator Farm: In Colorado’s San Luis Valley, you’ll find alligators tucked in a geothermal oasis west of the Great Sand Dunes. How they got there might surprise you: Originally a Tilapia farm in the ’70s, gators were brought in as a natural way to dispose of excess fish waste. The geothermal water safe haven they call home has grown into a true Colorado gem and refuge for mistreated exotic pets of all species & sizes. 🐊 #roadtrip
