When the team moved to Westchester, the first thing I did was call coach_serio and ask if he would take over my lifting plan. As the founder and owner of the ath_warehouse in Pleasantville, he knew how to teach a scrawny distance runner the fundamentals of a proper strength-training program.

Working out here feels familiar to college. A place to do the little things necessary to get to the next level, but in a fun environment where the effort emanates from your surroundings. An asset like this is surprisingly rare as a professional runner.
