“#DDNC2024 came to an end on Tuesday, March 12, with our members taking over Capitol Hill to advocate on behalf of our Federal Legislative Agenda. 

🔺We stand for health equity, to ensure that the color of our skin does not determine the timeliness or quality of our care. 

🔺We stand for reproductive justice because it is we who must shape the policies that affect our bodies and our choices. 

🔺We stand for education because if our children can live it, their children can learn about it. 

🔺We stand for economic justice because resources and opportunity are the cornerstones of a just and prosperous society. 

🔺We stand for environmental justice because our communities should not buckle under the weight of others’ waste and neglect. 

🔺We fight for our voting rights because discriminatory practices designed to suppress minority votes remain a stark reality in our modern democracy, challenging the very foundation on which equitable representation stands.”
