“Membership in Delta Sigma Theta means different things to different sisters. but at its core FOR ME, it represents love, a strong bond, and a support system among MY SISTERS until I close my eyes and even beyond. It means I have a group of individuals (some of whom I’ve never met) who are there for me and my family, who understand and respect me, and who I can rely on to get the work done (even when they fuss). It entails a BEAUTIFUL journey of friendship, love, countless shared experiences, and values, where we celebrate successes, navigate challenges, and have a sense of belonging (even when I don’t want to belong sometimes). My membership has been about building meaningful connections, fostering personal growth, and promoting empowerment among each of us!”
