The 31-year old netminder has backstopped Finland to seven straight wins, including four shutouts as they finished atop Group B in the preliminary round.

Olkinuora boasts a sparkling 0.965 save percentage and 0.86 goals-against-average, the best numbers of any goaltender through the entire tournament.

Finnish captain Valtteri Filppula spoke highly of his goaltender after their semifinal win over the United States: "Finland has always been lucky to have really good goaltending and he's no different. He's been great and given us a chance to win every night."
